One of the classic American musicals, Rodgers and Hammerstein's South Pacific tells the story of a group of sailors stationed in the South Pacific theater of World War II who enlist the aid of a French expatriot to find a weakness in the Japanese defence. There were a number of opportunities for more stylistic lighting choices in this production, which can be seen above.

DEATHTRAP

Deathtrap is Ira Levin's classic thriller about an aging playwright's plot to kill a younger playwright in order to steal his magnum opus: a "one room, five character thriller," and how that plan...takes a turn in many unexpected directions. This design featured many dark, intense scenes rife with lightning, moonlight and practically sourced lighting effects.

An Enemy of the People is Henrik Ibsen's startlingly relevant work about the nature of the individual's role in society, and the responsibility of authority in the face of disaster. Adapted for the American stage by Arthur Miller, the play never loses its weight regarding contemporary life, and explores a number of issues inherent in standing out from the solid majority.
